Backstory:
In "The Raven's Outpost," set in the year 2101, humanity has mastered deep space travel with warp gates enabling vast exploration. You play as a spacefarer born and raised on a colossal ship within a deep space frontier colony. As a recent graduate from the academy for deep space exploration, you now command a small scout ship.
Your mission is to venture through the warp gate, traversing randomly generated levels to collect vital resources for your colony's sustenance and maintenance. Upgrade your ship using these resources to enhance your exploratory capabilities. However, beware—space is perilous, and your crew's mental health and sanity are paramount. Monitor their levels and ensure their well-being by warping back to the colony for replenishment.
Navigate the cosmos, encounter the unknown, and discover remarkable new elements, but stay vigilant—potential dangers lurk in the unexplored depths. The universe unfolds before you, ever-expanding like your endless curiosity.
Hangar:
Upgrade your ship by clicking on the vessel on the launch pad. Purchase weapons and upgrades from the shop by clicking on the computer terminal next to the ship (WIP). Launch missions by clicking on the hangar doors.
Gameplay:
Use your mouse to aim around your ship. WASD to move around, left click to fire your weapons. The vessel has a built-in navigation system that will advise you of dangers and the way to get back home. Mine resource node by flying into the harvesting zone of the resource field. The crew has a sanity meter that will drain over time. Be sure to return to the hangar before that fully drains otherwise your crew will go insane and kill eachother resulting in game over (WIP).
