How to upload your game?

If you encounter any problems during the upload process, please contact us immediately. We will take care of it and provide a backup if necessary.

Real-time Communication 💬

We will utilize a dedicated Striked space for real-time communication and feedback, accessible to all participants. Additionally, the official support email address ‘[email protected]’ will be closely monitored. In these channels, we actively support and encourage collaboration during the game jam, providing prompt answers to questions and offering participant support. Our aim is to foster a positive and inclusive environment that inspires creativity and teamwork.

Presentation of your Project 📺

We will host one (or multiple, depending on the number of submissions) live streams, where each game will be presented to the audience. Developers will have the opportunity to participate in the livestream and add some internal perspective. This means that you can join the stream and personally share insights, anecdotes, and exciting details about your games, providing a unique and intimate perspective to the audience. It's a fantastic chance to engage directly with the community, showcase the inspiration behind your creations, and build a deeper connection with fellow gamers and enthusiasts.

Voting (Updated) ☑️

Following the final livestream, the community will be able to vote on all presented projects through this 'Google Form', which will be made available if the time arrives. The project with the most votes by the end of the voting period wins. In the event of a tie, the money will be split. Unless there are more than three entries with the same number of votes. Then there will be a run-off.

We will of course contact the winners personally, but also announce them on our social media channels as well as in the event space itself.

Reward/Prize 🏆

  • Prize money of €1000.00 to the winner with the most likes
  • 6 months Striked ‘Advanced’ for free for every team submitting a game to the Striked game jam 2023
  • Maybe some more fancy stuff - we're working on it!

Side Notes 🧩

  • By submitting your game to the Striked game jam you are giving Striked permission to showcase your game on our social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) as part of the promotion of the game jam. Striked will not be allowed to monetize your game in any way and you keep all intellectual property. As earlier mentioned, Striked will gladly link to your social media accounts or external websites, if you provide this information.
  • For the lone wolves out there, we offer the opportunity to connect with other developers and development teams by using the #team-finders channel within the event space for the game jam.
  • Treat fellow participants with respect and kindness throughout the event. Engage in healthy competition and encourage each other's growth.
  • We highly recommend keeping an eye on our social media channels, especially in conjunction with the game jam event itself, to ensure that you don't miss out on anything and are always up to date.
  • Make sure you upload a version of the project on Striked - for example, at least 24 hours - before the general deadline of the game jam, so that there is at least something there to be on the safe side.
  • We know there may be some glitches along the way, so we're counting on you to help us out. If you notice any bugs, just hit our feedback system at the bottom of our website and gladly submit them.
