A new 2024

These are dark days within the global games industry, and (in some cases) across all sectors. It "feels" as if more waves of job cuts are arriving every day, making minds and spirits weary. Be it Microsoft, which recently laid off a "fabulous" 1900 employees after the record-breaking takeover of Activision-Blizzard, Embracer, which is stopping the development of Deus Ex for Eidos Montreal, or 50 more jobs that Black Forest had to cut. The list seems endless at the moment.

New year, new acquisition

Striked is currently on clear acquisition course. The platform is on a stable level, now we have to actually find games that people want to play. In the first month of 2024 we have added numerous new developers, studios, and publishers to our catalogue. Within the last few weeks, we have already doubled our portfolio in terms of titles and the trend is still rising. We are very proud to have made many new and important connections and it is great to see that our vision is understood and recognized, which not only strengthens our own position but also helps to enrich the gaming community as a whole.

Strong connections, shared visions

An exciting part of our journey in the new year is also the intensive collaboration with existing partners, such as INDIE Hub, with whom we are already in discussions regarding new joint projects for the year. These partnerships not only allow us to deepen our relationships, but also to create creative synergies. We are not only focussing on consolidating existing partnerships, but also on exploring new horizons. Plans to grow our line-up are well underway and we are focused on not only adding impressive games to our portfolio, but also bringing new co-op partners on board.

We remain optimistic

Despite the challenges in the industry, we remain optimistic at Striked. Our journey may be accompanied by storms, but in every challenge we also see an opportunity for growth, innovation, and/or positive change. The new year is not only a continuation of our journey, but also an invitation to all who wish to sail with us into the exciting future of the gaming world.

Have a great start into the weekend!

Keep gaming, Your Striked Team
